COFFEE PACKAGING & AROMA SYSTEM DEGASSING VALVE |
|
![]() |
Packaging for roasted coffee has always posed a problem for coffee manufacturers as coffee beans continue to give off gases after packaging, with the inevitable bag "pop" or explosion which ensues, inevitably wasting the coffee packed within. Now-a-days that problem has been eliminated by the clever introduction of the Aroma System Degassing Valve. As shown below, a small valve has been included in the manufacture of the coffee packaging. As the gas pressure increases within the package the valve is designed to release the excess gas and reseal itself after doing so. The rich coffee flavor and the fresh Aroma of the coffee, remains. The package will now remain intact sealing in the coffee freshness and preventing expensive wastage. What a clever and most ingenious design and it is an addition to coffee packaging that definitely reduces waste which inevitably increases the bottom line. You can't be without this very valuable addition to your coffee packs.
We also supply vacuum pack bags especially designed for the vacuum packing of ground coffee. These bags do not require degassing valves as most gas is produced by the full fresh coffee bean.
